I had the opportunity to beta read DEFIANCE in all it’s forms and it inspired me to be a better person, broke my heart and had me wishing for a cataclysmic event to be able to get my hands on a Switch and have a world I could use it in on a daily basis.

I’ll add that I think Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian may be among the reasons we stopped using “Opinion Leaders” and instead adopted “Influencers.” One must have an opinion in order to be an opinion leader. “Influencers” is a tent that fits all kinds, yet some in that tent can reach millions of people and sell lots of products while having no discernable skill or expertise. Social media and reality TV has made influencers out of these individuals, yet maybe Edelman’s research is showing us that the masses are starting to catch on. I’m fairly certain society will prove me wrong, but one can hope.
